![]() Jayne Schumer is a seasoned attorney whose practice focuses on business, real estate, bankruptcy and employment law.
She gained a multitude of experience working in boutique law firms in both New York and Los Angeles as well as at a national law firm. Jayne is a graduate of Cornell University and earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law where she was on the Dean’s List and a member of the Law Review. Her background includes representing both companies and individuals in complex business, real estate and employment law matters. Jayne is admitted to practice law in New York State, the State of California, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the Central District of California. She is an advocate of animal rights, women's right and the rights of the disabled. She has served on the advocacy committee of SHARE and the New York County Lawyer's Task Force on Judicial Selection. She also did pro bono work for the Holocaust Reparations section of Bet Tzedek, a non-profit organization which provides free legal advice for low income residents of Los Angeles.
